Stuart Lanjlan known worldwide as Lange was born in Shrewsbury in the UK. He received a creative pseudonym in his youth from friends and, starting his career as a musician, decided to leave him. He took the first steps in composing music in the early 90s. After graduating from a university and gaining a profession that is closely connected with audio systems, he gets a job in a supermarket, and devotes the rest of his time to writing his own music.
His talent was noticed by famous labels and already in 1997 Lange debuted with the track “Obsession” recorded on the sub-label “Positiva”. The second song, entitled "I Believe" brings even greater success to the musician.
In 1998-1999 he was mainly engaged in the creation of remixes, and very successfully. His version of DJ Sakin's song “Protect Your Mind” instantly flies to 4th position in UK Top 40. In 2000, after releasing many great remixes, he released his own track “Follow Me”, which falls into the comedy film “Kevin And Perry Go Large”.
In early 2002, Virgin Records released one of the most popular and lucrative tracks Lange together with Skye vocalist called "Drifting Away". He immediately finds himself in 9th place in the UK Sales Chart, and also conquers the heights of numerous charts, including on the BBC television channel.
In 2003, two releases with Andy Perring, Pulser, “My Religion,” and Firewall, “Sincere,” appeared in Armada Music′s A State Of Trance. In the summer of 2003, together with Pulser he created the musicology radio show, and in 2004 launched his own label “Lange Recordings”. In 2005-2006 he collaborated productively with Gareth Emery.
According to the results of voting from Arminfan, in 2013 TOP Lange DJs took 47th place, and 2014 was 56th. And according to the version of DJ Mag, for several years in a row it has been included in the TOP of the best DJs. Extraordinary music Lange plays in famous clubs, including Godskitchen, The Gallery, Ministry Of Sound and others. He also participates in festivals of trance music and on various radio shows, travels around many countries, including Russia, Australia, Canada and the USA.
